Street art in Georgetown

It's been a long time since my last update, not due to lack of adventure or great pictures but good old fashioned laziness. This post is short and sweet in the hope I'll convince myself it's not too difficult to write semi-coherent sentences and upload pictures.

Georgetown in the capital of the island state Penang. It was awarded a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008 and I can see why. There is a real mix of cultures and architecture with British, Muslim, Indian and Chinese all visible throughout the city, the food is therefore unbelievable and there's a great art scene. All these things mixed together makes for a real buzzing town.

While walking through town I came across these Banksy-esque murals. The only problem with all this art is the constant threat of a road accident while looking up, not left and right.

Cool cartoons describing the area through art can be found everywhere in Georgetown. This one mentions the influx of backpackers.
